  • Information and help for volunteering in Ghana.

    After coming to Ghana as a volunteer I soon realised that most of the money I had paid to an organisation hadn't left England. In fact the disabled centre where I was working was losing money from having to pay for my meals and accomodation. I also realised how easy it is to volunteer in Ghana without any established organisation, which would allow you to spend the extra money on helping develop the project you are working on.

Volunteer in Ghana! information and help

I stayed in Ghana for 3 and a half months in 2008 and had an amazing time.  However once I got there I realised that I had paid far too much and that none of my money was making its way to Ghana.. So with some other volunteers we decided to create this site to give information and help to anyone wishing to volunteer in Ghana, as we believe going with an established organisation is almost always a waste of money that could be far better spent in Ghana.. 

So if you are considering volunteering in Ghana, this site is for you..
